The financial services industry have had a license to print money through their charges for far too long. Given the loans industry practice of charging up to 2000% APR fair and responsible charging policies should be enforced (if necessary by statute). Bring in a law to state for example that no more than say three or four times the original capital sum can be charged in interest to a borrower. Debt is a major problem hindering for the nation's long term economic recovery Helping debtors may help convince the floating voters that the Conservatives as well as Labour really care about ordinary voter.
