Christmas Card Competition

Since becoming your Member of Parliament, I have enjoyed running a Christmas Card Competition amongst local primary schools.

This year, I hosted a Christmas Party for the twenty-three children who submitted designs at the Old Fire Station Café in Brackley. They were treated to hot chocolate with marshmallows and some delicious cakes whilst taking part in a political/Christmas quiz.

Congratulations to the winner, Phoebe Clocherty, from Brackley Junior School!

To round off the event, I handed out certificates to all the children who took part in this year's competition to design my Christmas card which I send out to colleagues, friends, and local residents.

Congratulations to the overall winner, Ewan Pender-Selassi (Roade Primary) and also to the three runners-up, Molly Berne (Greens Norton Primary), Isabella Gilgil (Brackley Junior) and Lottie Gomersall (Hackleton Primary).

Thanks also to Sarah and her team at the Café for looking after us! My thanks also to Cllr Fiona Baker who came along to welcome the children and masterfully ran the quiz for them!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year!
