Roade Vote 100 Exhibition

2018 marks three special events:

  • 100 years since Parliament passed a law which allowed the first women, and all men, to vote for the first time – The Representation of the People Act;
  • The right for women to stand as candidates;
  • 60 years since women first sat in the House of Lords.

Commemorate this milestone by getting involved with the Vote 100 Project and come along to the Roade exhibition in St Mary’s Church Hall on the 9th and 10th August.  I will be attending between 10.30am and 12 noon on Friday to show my support for this important anniversary and to celebrate Vote 100 and equality for all.

Refreshment and homemade cakes will be available.
