Roxhill Update

Today I met with representatives from Roxhill to hear directly about the progress of their Northampton Gateway application with the Planning Inspectorate, which is now at examination stage.

I know that many local residents continue to have substantial concerns about the proposal, particularly in terms of the impact on the local communities and road networks, and I am committed to doing everything I can to ensure that those concerns are represented.

I am holding a public meeting in Collingtree on Saturday morning to hear more from constituents about both Northampton Gateway and Rail Central, and will be submitting my response to PINS on behalf of the hundreds of people who have contacted me in recent months. The deadline for registered parties to respond to the first phase of the PINS examination is midday on Tuesday 6th November, and I would encourage as many people to feed-in as possible.

You can find more information about both proposals in the SRFI section of my website, and about the Roxhill proposal specifically on the PINS portal.
