Update on the new boundaries for South Northamptonshire

Last week, the Boundary Commission published its final proposals for the new boundaries of the South Northamptonshire constituency. These proposals have been laid in Parliament by the Speaker, and MPs will vote to approve them before the next election (likely in 2024).

On the images below, the new boundaries are in green, the old in pink. Residents can find a link below to a detailed map of the new constituency boundaries.

New gains: Grendon, Wollaston, Bozeat, Easton Maudit, Strixton, Milton Malsor, Gayton, Rothershorpe, Bugbrooke, Kislingbury, Harpole, Nether Heyford, Upper Heyford

Moved to other constituencies: Upper Boddington, Lower Boddington, Aston le Walls, Edgcote, Chipping Warden, Eydon, St Crispins, Upton, East & West Hunsbury, Collingtree, Wootton, Hardingstone, Great Houghton

It has been the greatest pleasure to represent so many different villages and parishes for the last 13 years, and I will be sure to provide a good handover to new representatives for those communities moving into other constituencies.

I look forward to getting to know residents in the new areas of the constituency once the changes have been passed into law.
