Andrea Leadsom Urges Parents to Apply for Free Childcare before Deadline
If you are working parent with a child who is 3 or 4, you have until 31st August to claim your 30 hours per week free childcare.
By September 2025, working parents with children over nine months old will able to claim for 30 hours free childcare a week until they start school.
This is the largest expansion of childcare in England ever - with the average parent set to save £6,500 per year. Together with our new Family Hubs supporting new families to give their child the best start for life, this Government is serious about improving Early Years care.
