Tiffield Land Development

I recently met with Tiffield Lane residents and representatives from Highways England, Northampton County Council and South Northamptonshire Council to discuss concerns around the proposed Tiffield Lane development.

An independent party have been appointed to look at the application which will be presented to the Planning Committee before Christmas. They will meet in the new year to make a decision on the application. Residents have rightly raised their concerns surrounding an increase in traffic and adequate signage, as well as the potential adverse impact it may have on the ongoing Towcester Relief Road.

I am pleased that Highways England have committed to looking at the signage strategy and amenity weight limit as well as liaising with road safety colleagues for an independent view.
