Visit to Greens Norton Primary School

Greens Norton Primary School is at the heart of the local community, and I enjoyed a friendly welcome on my recent visit to the school.

Welcomed by Headteacher Sue Marsh, I visited the different classes and spoke with pupils about what they were learning. One class were spending their Friday morning creatively writing about Kenya, and have painted mugs for charity, with proceeds going to World Vision. The reception class were particularly keen to show me their outdoor play area, a great space with balancing toys and a wet play area. They had also grown flowers, and they will donate profits to a local animal charity.

I hope that pupils enjoyed their ‘fish finger Friday’ school dinner and I look forward to visiting again in the near future!
