Visit to St. Peter's Church, Brackley

This year marks the 800th anniversary of the beautiful St. Peter’s Church in Brackley. Last week I was invited along by Trustees, Rosemary, Robin and John to have a tour of the church and to see for myself the renovation work that is required to keep the church in great condition for future generations. The Trustees are hoping to raise £412,000 during their anniversary year to enable them to undertake all the necessary repairs, which includes re-pointing , new flooring, a new boiler and the repair of the perimeter wall ( which houses the largest church graveyard in South Northamptonshire.)

I am honoured to have been asked to become a Patron for the anniversary year, and I am looking forward to attending the celebrations in the summer. St. Peter’s Church has a long list of exciting activities planned throughout the year to celebrate their 800th anniversary and to raise the all important funds for their renovation - do go along and join in the fun and support this local treasure.
