Westminster Hall debate on improving young driver safety

My constituents, Chris and Nicole Taylor have been campaigning for improvements for young driver safety since the tragic death of their daughter, Rebecca in 2008.

Chris and Nicole came to see me soon after I became an MP in 2010 and I have tried to support their brilliant campaign that seeks to significantly reduce the risk of any other young, unexperienced driver dying on the roads.

I held a Westminster Hall debate on 11th January which discussed their recommendations for improving young driver safety as well as the other options of black boxes and graduated driver licences.

You can watch the full debate below and read my remarks here.
