Andrea Leadsom Writes to National Highways on HS2 A43 Road Closure

I have today been informed that HS2 will cancel its works on the A43 Northbound and Radstone junction this weekend.

They will instead close the road and junction from 8pm on Friday 8th December to 6am on Monday 11th December.

This flies in the face of assurances I was given by National Highways on a ban on road closures around Christmas, so I have written urgently to ask that they prevent this closure.
